Artist Biography
Random International (est.2005), celebrated for iconic installations like Rain Room at MoMA, merges art and technology to examine the nuances of human behaviour and perception. Their works, Imagine Our Flock(2024) and Imagine Our Dance / II (2024), explore AI’s fragmented attempts to interpret human motion, creating distorted impressions instead of coherence.The figures depicted in these works are performing a flocking algorithm; AI imagines humans embodying code. Through these pieces, Random International investigates the limits of machine intelligence, underscoring the tension  between what is captured and what remains elusive in our ever evolving relationship with technology, and with one another.
