PhillipsX is pleased to announce A TRIBUTE TO TRADITION: Another Clue About Huang Yuxing, an exhibition of works by the acclaimed Chinese contemporary artist Huang Yuxing featuring a group of rare works showcasing his fascination for traditional Chinese shan shui paintings and craftsman.

HUANG YUXING Seven Treasure Pines Teapot, Executed in 2022-2023, this work is from an edition of 8 and accompanied by a certificate signed by the artist.

This exhibition will highlight the Chinese ink paintings created during his teenage years, landscape paintings that offer a contemporary interpretation of traditional Chinese shan shui works, and a collection of pieces such as a purple clay teapot sculpture, lacquerware, ceramics, and hand-carved stamps that showcase his passion for ancient craftsmanship.
