Exhibition Highlights

On the occasion of Milano Art Week and Salone del Mobile, Phillips is pleased to present a selection of highlights, including both private sales and works that will be featured in upcoming auctions, within a setting conceived by Dimoregallery in Phillips’ Milan gallery space.

A special intervention by Dimoregallery enters into dialogue with exceptional artworks from Phillips. In the main area of the exhibition space, an echo of Dimoregallery’s architecture comes to life, reinterpreted through furnishings by Dimoremilano, creations by Interni Venosta, and historic pieces such as lamps by Hans Agne Jacobsen, in conversation with masterpieces such as an extraordinary Mappa by Alighiero Boetti created in Afghanistan, three canvases by Lucio Fontana, two works by Carla Accardi and Piero Dorazio, and a luminaria by Marinella Senatore.

At the center of the gallery, the furnishings become silent protagonists, while the artworks reverberate across the walls, animating them and telling stories of form and light.

Lines and materials interact with one another, evoking atmospheres and memories. The dominant colors are white, black, red, and gold, paired with the deep blue of the sea embroidered in Boetti’s work and in Fontana’s cut, which opens like a rupture toward another dimension of reality. Every object, whether historical or contemporary, contributes to a visual rhythm that guides the gaze and invites contemplation.
